King D. Carlos and Queen D. Amélia came here to admire the Sete Cidades lakes and the spot was named after them. It is truly a view fit for kings!

Boca do Inferno

Sete Cidades seen from a different perspective. The name of the place (hell's mouth, in a literal translation) can be misleading: the views are divine!
